Maintaining brand profile for a market leader

onechocolate worked with Nokia across in a range of different briefs for 10 years. For seven of those we were the agency of record in the UK to build, and more recently maintain, a brand perception for Nokia in the UK that reflected their no1 market position and to manage the Nokia brand through the regular issues as well as plan and manage potential UK crises.
In that time we created thought leadership for the brand leveraging key topics including: new technologies, business applications, design, TV-over-mobile, music, the environment, consumer behaviour insights, nano-technology and mobile trends.
Selected highlights include an award winning design collaboration with Central Saint Martins generating over 80 pieces of coverage and massive global online buzz, a viral game that generated over 192,000 click throughs to the Nokia Shop over a three week period and a mobile TV roundtable in partnership with Endemol. We also regularly took Nokia out of the usual mobile trade and mobile consumer media, generating mainstream coverage in the news, lifestyle, business, environmental, design and (of course) technology pages of all the nationals, broadcast and major off and online media.
